The freeware version sends text files and memos only, no coversheets, address books, logs or graphics. They also have DOS, Palmtop, Chinese and Hebrew shareware fax software, and a fax broadcasting program. QFAX can be called by other applications as a fax engine, C source code available. Supports Class 1, 2, 2.0 modems. You may need to download a copy of the DOS version to get the a complete list of InitStrings so that you can get it working with your modem. Please note, I've had success with the Win16 version under NT 3.51 and 4.0 but not with the 32 bit version. Let me know if it works for you. A telephony messaging program and Windows Fax SDK library are in development. |
