FaxWare allows all employees in the company network to create, send, receive, edit, distribute, and archive faxes from their own workplaces, making it the perfect solution for companies in which fax communications play an important role. FaxWare enables your server to become the multi-functional fax station. Documents are easily faxed, directly from your own PC out of any popular application programme. Without previous printing. The Venta4Net software is a network fax and voice messaging solution based on the same technology as single-user VentaFax software and can be used with Windows 98/Me, NT 4.0, 2000 and XP operating systems. It allows the sending of faxes and voice messages from any networked computer (client) via the modem (or modems) installed in the single computer (server). Connection between clients and the server is executed under the TCP/IP protocol. There are single line and multiline (up to 32 telephone lines!) versions of servers. The number of supported client workstations is 4 in the basic installation and can be increased. Each task created by users is transferred to the server and is placed in the schedule. The delivery system processes the schedule and performs the message delivery. Access to the message delivery schedule and logbooks depends on user rights. For privacy purposes a client may be denied an access to viewing and editing of another's scheduled tasks and/or log book records. Received messages (depending on settings) can be addressed to one or several users. User rights determine the body of actions that the user is allowed to perform when working with the program, and vise versa, the actions that are not allowed for him or her to perform. User rights also determine the accessibility of specific information. Particularly, access to the message delivery schedule and log books depends on user rights. Public (accessible to all users) and personal phone books and delivery time masks can be used. The software is compatible with faxmodems. It supports additional capabilities of several modems like caller's number delivery (Caller ID) and distinctive ring service. The time-limited and feature-limited evaluation version of the program is available for testing and studying the interaction between the server and client ends of the program in the local area network as well as for testing the interaction between the program and your faxmodem.
Zetafax allows users on the network to receive faxes on screen and send faxes straight from their PCs. It can merge a document onto a letterhead and generate a coversheet automatically if required before sending. One PC on the network is set up to be the fax server. Connected to this PC are one or more fax modems or fax cards. In most cases the fax server does not need to be a dedicated PC. The Email Gateway will allow you to send and receive email and faxes from a single interface.
Zetafax is a 32 bit fax server which runs as service on NT/2000. The server will also run on Windows 95/98 machines. Client support for NT/2000/XP, Win ME/95/98 and others through the API. Zetafax can be installed on a laptop computer for use while disconnected from the LAN. Zetafax has an e-mail gateway for Exchange, MS:Mail, cc:Mail, Groupwise, Notes and MAPI compliant mail systems. This enables a fax to be constructed in exactly the same way as a conventional e-mail message which can be sent either as an e-mail, as a fax, or both. Faxes can also include e-mail attachments that are then rendered by the Zetafax server. Combined with DID routing the e-mail gateway can deliver inbound faxes direct to a users desktop or to the universal in-box. Other features include LCR, archiving of sent and received faxes, automatic recovery of faxes if transmission fails, automatic printing of faxes per user and group receipt of faxes. ODBC address book interface. Inbound routing (DID), custom coversheets and fax mail-merge to letterheads. Annotation of received faxes in client InBox. Sending of paper documents via integration with the HP 9100 Digital Sender and HP Network Scanjet 5 devices. Zetafax supports Class 1, 2 and 2.0 fax modems, active ISDN fax cards (EICON & AVM), as well as PCI and ISA versions of Brooktrout and GammaLink fax boards and ISDN (BRI and PRI) cards. 5-user version £ 350 UK $ 525 US, 500 user version £4,995 UK, $7,995 US.
